Hi, my name is Howard Andrew and I run Ramblers' Rest along with my wife, Carolie. We have been providing accommodation for backpackers, travellers, and ramblers on working holidays since 2007. With our backpackers spread over two adjacent properties, there's a unique atmosphere that will make you feel like you're at home away from home.

Here at Ramblers Rest you'll find everything you need to achieve
your aims while in Ashburton. Like we said, it is a home away from home.
Rooms - Most rooms have 2,3 or 4 beds in them and you will share your rooms with fellow travellers. We have a few double bed rooms for couples. Bed linen is provided.
Living areas - The lounges have heatpumps, and TVs with DVD and VCR players. United Video
movie hire is just down the block.
Internet - Zenbu wireless internet is provided
Facilities - There are communal bathroom, laundry and kitchen facilities in each house,
and clothes lines outside.
Parking - Sufficient on and off street parking available.
One night rate - NZ$25 per person
Up to a max of NZ$125 for one week
(5 nights - $125. 6th and 7th night - free)
Payment methods: Cash only, there are two ATMs within minutes walk
Beds - Linen provided
Weekly rate includes 100mb free internet
Zenbu Wireless Internet
Laundry $2 per load for dryer
