Ramblers Rest Backpacker Hostel is centrally located within only a few minutes’ walk from the Ashburton main street and bus stop, banks, restaurants, bars, and shopping centre, and only 3 or 4 blocks away from most other vital town services such as supermarkets, post office, library, town council and of course the movie theatre.

We are also close to seasonal work employment agencies with which we have good relationships, as well as with many of the seasonal work employment providers.
